Open Letter to Self: Time & Season pt. 1
I. TO BE OR NOT TO BE OBSERVANT

Happening again,
I forced a smile
"Will anyone ever know,"
And so, she thinks to herself,
"I don't really belong
here"

Acting a little bit okay
Hoping feeling a little bit better
Walking under the sunlight a little bit lighter
Tracing down the street a little bit quicker

Just don't show it
Don't show you're a little contrite by the day
Though the sky lingers
Its radiant shine just don't
Instantly shut down
Morning to noon
Though a myriad of people complains
How they likely want it to be
"The weather should've been sunny by now"
Or, when the sky has already darkened
Still, it is unbothered despite any mockery
To belittle its purpose; but until then,
Got treated less significant
Just another way that humans would simply
Do to make their tiny feelings better,
"Scorching hot today, should've guessed it earlier;"
"My gosh, it's raining again.
For Christ's sake, too damn early
in the morning."

Seasons appear, they're rambling as well
By all appearances and means,
"Ah, winter season! Now great,
I'm stuck at home like forever.
Getting bored and freezing to death;"
"Yeah, I wish summer could've stayed
the whole year. Winter is mostly hated.
Must it last longer? What benefit do we get?
If only we can speed up that time of the season."
