My Thoughts.
#WritcoPoemPrompt2
In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone,
a flicker of pain in my eyes,
that makes me feel very guilty,
Then I stood up from the bed and looked,
through the window and said,
my thoughts and myself are one,
trotting up the lane of success,
So then I stood up and opened the door,
and allowed my thoughts to come in,
and I listened to my thoughts,
and it refurbished my purpose,
Then I stood up and followed my thoughts outside,
and it guided me through the road,
and I crawled out through the dark,
and it brought me out to my place of destiny.
