Let me step into the warmth of your arms,
Let me bask in the sunshine of your smile,
Let me hold you a moment longer, mother mine,

Teach me the way of dignity,
Teach me the way to earn legal prosperity,
Teach me how to endure the pains of life,
Teach me how to hide pains in-between laugh,
Teach me how to win life fights,
Teach me how to live without regrets,

Show me how to love with all my heart,
Show me survival secret,
Show me how much more I worth,
Show me how to always say the truth,
Guide me through the chilled weather,
Guide me from the inevitable hunger,
Guide me on how to use my mouth,
Guide me how to bear instead of shout,

Teach me how to be a good son,
Teach me how to always move on,
Teach me how to stand on my own,
Train me like a rock and not foam,
Train me how to become a warrior, not a terror,
Teach me how to make good Pages, in each chapter of my life,
Teach me to be a book the world would always love to read,
Mother, see that I am no longer a kid...
