Whispers of the Tide
Moon:
O restless sea, beneath my gaze,
Why do you churn through nights and days?
Your waves, they dance to my soft light,
Yet seem to hold some ancient fight.
Ocean:
O silver queen, you pull my soul,
I rise and fall, I lose control.
Your distant light, so cold and clear,
Guides my tides but brings no cheer.
Moon:
But ocean deep, I watch with care,
My beams are gifts I softly share.
Your waves reflect my distant face,
In you, I find a mirrored grace.
Ocean:
Your light is cold, yet I am warm,
In storms, I rage, in peace, I calm.
You see my surface, bright...
O restless sea, beneath my gaze,
Why do you churn through nights and days?
Your waves, they dance to my soft light,
Yet seem to hold some ancient fight.
Ocean:
O silver queen, you pull my soul,
I rise and fall, I lose control.
Your distant light, so cold and clear,
Guides my tides but brings no cheer.
Moon:
But ocean deep, I watch with care,
My beams are gifts I softly share.
Your waves reflect my distant face,
In you, I find a mirrored grace.
Ocean:
Your light is cold, yet I am warm,
In storms, I rage, in peace, I calm.
You see my surface, bright...
