burning in the hot sun
without much but a beating heart,
thirsty for what's on the other side
inspite of the fact that
It doesn't truly know what it beats for
or why it has to continuously burn
until there is a noticable hole
A missing part of what matters the most
craving to be filled, not hidden
Wondering in the unknown,
I see nothing within reach
and all my garments are almost torn
What can hide me from the sun and the cold
except this big beating heart?
Lost alone in the desert,
