Heading home after a long day worth of work,
something told me I should have never left after the things we had said and how I acted like a jerk.
Something so simple as I'm sorry or I love you would have been a better way to end the fight
instead I stormed out the door with so many things left unsaid.
Trying to think of all of the things that I could say, knowing just how much she loved me, I knew she would forgive me just like any other day.
Coming up to the stop sign around the corner from our house I can see the lights of a police car reflecting off of the sign,
Curious as we do not have much traffic in our neighborhood or any sort of crime.
