ए मौत, तू थोरि देर और ठहर
अभी तक घर पहुँच नहीं पाया हूँ।
हजारों मिलों का ये सफर
नंगे पैर तय करने की कसम खाया हूँ।
एक बार हजारों मिलों के फासले तय कर
नंगे पैर पैदल ही पहुँच जाऊँ।
देख लूँ अपना घर, अपने घरवालों को
फिर वहीं हँसता हुआ, माटी में सिमट जाऊँ।
