IN THE REACHES OF THE DARK
As the last of the daylight fades
And I stand at the edge of my own world
What fears will I have to fight
As I stand in the pouring rain
Of this cemetery
The church burned down
The gravestones open you see
The choking smell of smoke
Cloying my senses
And yet around me
I have no defences
I see spirits walking
Across the land
I hear the wolf howl
And watch the crow land
But I will not run
Just hold out my hand
I welcome the three
To be joined with me
In this burned down church
And my cemetery
Once they are with me
They can lay me to rest
In the church of the unholy
And cemetery of unrest
