Do you remember me ? I hope you are doing well. I am your child, you forgot about me, how I used to wait for you, the paper boats that carry my dreams. Once upon a time, I was a girl with a heart full of love, but as I grew older I became numb, my heart is heavy and it feels like I have lost myself, I have lost my soul trying to fit in this bewildering world. How I used to wait to get drenched in your embrace.
I don't know how I feel about this but the only thing that won't change will be my love for you. You are my soulmate. And when the skies turn gray a sense of melancholy appears, the sun hides behind the black clouds and the sky pours down and as you appear on my window pane, you lose yourself in someone else to become whole. You're my someone that I wouldn't mind losing myself in.
As I write this letter to you, my tears mingle with you every time I think about us. You bring the world alive, but now that I am an adult I think that thing don't feel like the same anymore. It feels like we are drifting apart.
Some stories end for the beginning of something beautiful. I think this is the end. I will miss you.
