Rain
Peeking through my window sill,
Droplets splashing on the rooftop,
The cold air filling up my room,
It's been raining for quite a while now,
Gazing aimlessly at the sky,
As it showers down unto earth,
Creating an unlikely symphony,
Of melancholy and tranquility.
How I adore it sometimes,
To stare at the rain pour,
I feel as if, slowly,
My troubles washing away,
Looking through my windows,
As the sky sheds it's tears once more,
Oh somber rain,
Won't you wash my worries away?
