All I wanted in life
Was to be cared for and loved without stipulations
But that's impossible because a man
Only wants to use control and manipulation

He'll get you so attached & loving him
Then string you along till he gets tired
Then he'll walk away and take your phone
Knowing it's your only means for survival

So obviously there’s no best interest at heart
Cause now you at risk of going to jail
Without a phone you can’t do classes for probation
Or have a way to make money for bail

He knows you haven’t eaten anything
Since a week ago last Tuesday
He don’t give a fuck about you,
Your feelings, or anything you got to say

I think he expects me to sit in this bedroom
And not have contact with ANY human being
All day, all night, day in and day out
TO ME, that’s not love or even close to its meaning

But he says that I DON'T know what love is
Really?!? Are you kidding me right now?!?
Making me so miserable that I wanna die
And that’s the definition of love HOW?

See, I had a small conversation through text
With someone I knew who asked if I was alright?
But since I’ve borrowed money from him before
Allegedly this who I'm cheating with during all hours of the night
