The place where I stay
In the silent corridors of my heart,
I will hear your footsteps again;
Remembering how we lost track of time,
Thinking it will last for ages.

My life was a dark wasteland,
Full of fences, full of cages;
But you used to shine so bright,
And then i watched it all fade away;

And here i am;
Because you left me no choice,
But this place, forever to stay.

And i still talk to you,
When I'm screaming at the sky;
Someone will remember us,
Even in another lifetime, I say.

Wondering why we bother,
When love never lasts? thinking;
If you'll ever ask,
“Did i paint your bluest skies
In the darkest of grey?”

But here I am;
Because you left me no choice,
But this place, forever to stay.

And you know damn well, for you,
I would become ruined and feeble;
Now i think, maybe forever was a word,
Meant for memories, not people.

Your face is like a melody,
From my head, it won't go away
My thoughts will eco your name,
Until I hear the lovely Lies you say;

And here I am;
Because you left me no choice,
But this place, forever to stay.

I had an imaginary monster,
And i eventually became comfortable
With feeling hollow and empty,
Dealing with the pain.

I guess that's why i fall for boys,
With empty hearts and vicious brain;
Because i became so accustomed to
Being hurt and feeling pain.

I wonder if it's my mistake that i,
Never chased my monsters away?

But here I am;
And you left me no choice,
But this place, forever to stay.
