I’m more of a typewriter writer
the mechanics of each key
the actual stamping of single letters into what becomes of dead trees
if I want to send it
it must be folded
tucked into an envelope
lick a stamp
and find a blue box
to which I finally drop
and that drop is final
can’t get it back.
I don’t care for the internet
keeps everyone too connected
sometimes I do my best work
getting lost in the world.
