Fallen Grace
Angels cried with silver tears,
Their wings, heavy, fade and fray.
Above a world that no longer hears,
They whisper, then slip away.

Once lifted in golden light,
They now float down, unseen, uncalled.
The heavens, distant, blur from sight,
Their halos broke, and their voices stopped.

No burning sword, no heavenly choir,
No trace of wings to catch the fall,
Their breath was erased, lost to fire,
Where once they woke, now lost to all.

Not with anger, but with sorrow,
They fall beneath a heavy sky.
Gone are dreams of a bright tomorrow,
They rush in silence, and angels die.

No prayers to bring them back to mercy,
No heaven’s gate to be back.
Just melancholic winds through space,
Where angels once, with love, had light.
