Every color is beautiful
(i wrote this poem during the George Floyd case...back in 2020)
It was his first day
In a beautiful new school
Thought he would make frnds
But they all were so cruel.
"Eww look at him so ugly"
"Yeah he is black"
"Does he ever shower?"
Kind of words attacked
"Thank god im not black!"
He woke up from a horrible dream
He looks at his skin color
Which was white as cream.
A new place a new school
He happily starts to walk
But he slows down his big steps,
When he heard some comments coming across.
"Oh lord he looks scary"
"So white cant even see his nose"
"Yeah but i can see his eyeballs though"
He stood there and froze.
He starts to think
'Why do i exist
if the world is so racist
Its better to just die
And put an end to all this'
But my dear friend
What should mater is not caring about the colour of your skin,
But what lies within..
The skin that we are in.
