I'm still 22
But I've been on a lot of journeys and I've seen them through
I ran with the thugs,
In a way I was running from love.
When I was young that was something so unheard of.
Something I wasn't in search of,
So I never received,
The world lost to me and I was lost to the streets
So that's what I thought,
I got my GED.
I eventually went to med school and I joined red cross.
I was so cold but it changed my thoughts.
I've traveled so many places,
seen loss in many faces.
Crossed burning bridges and barely made it.
But it's a different world...
