I’ve wept until no tears remain,
A mind replaying endless pain.
Fears unspoken, yet so near,
Lost in haze, I disappear.

Time slips through my fragile hold,
A will worn thin, a tale retold.
Life bites sharp, bitter and cold,
Ignoring knocks as stories unfold.

But I’m not shattered, not yet...
