Talk to the Hand
There is bravado in the words you use but doubt in your tone.
Do you not hear it or am I alone?
You've made a staggering amount of slurs and vows,
that have stopped me in my tracks and raised my brows.
That have followed bitterly vicious jeers,
that broke the dam that held my tears.
And the words you've written of all my flaws,
have rammed my brain and given me cause.
To believe that your words are empty and filled with despair.
That you feel for no other or even care.
I've decided the things you say that I do,
says less about me and volumes about you.
