The same one told me not to trust others!

Someone told me believe in yourself..
The same one told me that they lost hope!

Someone told me we are friends..
The same one told me we can't be friends anymore..!

Someone told me hardships are part of life..
The same one told me that they are suffering with their own hardships..!

Someone told me i am a lovely girl..
The same one told that the world is full of cruel people!

Now I'm totally confused..Which should i think is the truth..?
