As the sky goes dark,
As the stars twinkle,
As the breeze blows cold,
sending shivers down the spine,
Igniting the anticipated feeling of the ending year,
Memories flood my mind,
My experiences become all I can think about,
My sorrows and my Joys.
What a pleasant year it has been,
Despite life's unfair challenges,
I made it,
We made it.
God's with me,
he's made all I can be,
he's made me learn,
he's made me aware.
As the year ends,
I smile,
Because I'm a survivor.
Let the last night end with it's trials and tribulations,
Let's it echoes of pain, sorrows, happiness and Joy,
go down with it.
It's been a wonderful year!.
