Through life I travel
A journey through the dark
A journey through a place we roam day and night
A journey indeed but have you every thought
Maybe it’s in our dreams that we walk

What if we are asleep when we’re awake
For in the night we dream we see fields of gold
We see a house, some land, and a home
For in those dreams our souls collide
And we become side by side

Now do you wonder when you rest and sleep
Maybe it isn’t really dream
For life’s a toll and the dreams you rule
It’s your own little kingdom just for me and you

Life has its drags
It leaves you with scrapes and scars
But it’s in your dreams that they are gone
So lay your head and close your eyes
Even though I’m not with you
