Dreams
Onomatopoeia
Bish bosh
Mamihlapinatapai
Succinctement
The death of love
Emossional entrapment
And self-induced
Separation
She loves me
She loves me not
Logic over self-doubt
Attachment
So hard to shake
The ghost in the shell
Welcome to the machine
Falling in love with her
Was the easiest thing
I have ever done
She is the poem
I had hoped to write
But became the hurricane
That stole my heart
And the rain in which I wished
To drown
Losing her a trauma
With no exit wound
A longing
Buried deep in bone and tissue
A quiet but ruthless remembering
Her arms
My Pearly Gates
The final destination
Without a road map
Second guessing myself
How to find abandonment
Prior to the understanding of the self
Am I lost to the one
Who doesn't love me back
Why this compulsion
For a woman, I cannot have
A recuring force majeure
My tears holding
The history of all that I have lost
A fools Shangri-La
Why such pain
For someone so inaccessible
Toxic empathy
Was she the fun in dysfunctional
Blissfully ignorant
A love vandalist
Does our journey
Have an unknown destination
Are we just unaware
Travellers
Lost to expectations
And the dreams
We believed
We deserved
