Leaving Home...
I don't think one can ever leave home,
Home is bound in our hearts and written in our bones,
Steeped in our reddest bloods we weigh heavier than stone,
But you should see us fly; you should see us when we float,
Like kites, or like boats,
Sharper than razor blade are the heartstrings,
That keep me tettered to my home,
Yet I wrap them around my fingers,
They adorn me like the 7 Rings,
Till they crawl up my neck and suffocate me like airless domes,
I need to breathe, I need to leave home, I need to go,
But where will I go, that I won't miss my home?
