Open book
My life seems like an open book
Wish I know who reads
Well, I care less
But when you get to that chapter
Where I was careless
Please don’t repeat my mistakes after
Be like society, judge
Don’t forget to give me the badge
For the good deeds
Question the misdeeds
But who made you judge by the way
Leaving your flaws
To laugh at my dirty claws.
When you get to that chapter that I was weak
I hope it makes you strong
If you read the line that I was wrong
I guess it will make you feel alright
You can’t write my mistakes right
Nor save my plights
All I wanted was a simple life
A secretive affair from prying eyes
But he made me an open book
Why did I forget to watch what I wrote?
For others to read and look
On my way and find theirs
To look at my fears and fight theirs
To look at my tears and dry theirs
To connect to my success
And to their questions, find answers
So when you get to those chapters
Where I rose and fell
Just know I’m human too
And I make mistakes like you.
All I wanted was a simple life
But an open book I am to the world.
To inspire the world with my lifestyle.
