The red makes me stand out today,
It marks the beginning of something new,
With old values I step into the new life,
My eyes portraying millions of emotions,
Happiness, sadness, Excitement and a sense of inpendment

The red makes me stand out today,
The large set of red and gold bangles sing me the sound of joyous times,
The red vermillon that is going to adorn my head shouts amazement,
The red of my mehendi sings his name,
Let me call my beloved dressed in red,
Let him take me away in a red doli,
Let me be coloured red by him.
