Agony! It gets Personal. O_o
From an experiential subjective point of view,
Happiness is Intentional.
Intentional because you don't have to work for melancholia, it welcomes itself,
Intentional because every other thing in the world can easily make you sad,
Intentional because, you have to strive to maintain it.
I'm from reading a journal I kept 3 years ago ( I don't even know how it survived the fire this long)...
I WAS SAD, I WAS LONELY, I WAS BROKEN! It's agony!

*hello my name is Linda and I am a sad person.*

I sat on the floor trying to re-enact those moments I wrote about but none came to mind, all I know is that I was getting numb while pitying the 21-year old me.
I'm not saying I'm doing much better, but then I am.
Lately I ride on waves of happy and try to make them last without striving to establish the reasons behind it.
I've come to appreciate being happy without a reason why
mostly because I don't know how dark tomorrow will be.

You don't work for Agony, it's a silent beast; If you feed it, it devours you.
