Threw out old boxes,
Regrets and photographs,
Empty pockets and lockets,
To make space in the mind,
For peace to find,
For tranquility of mind is truly a gift,
But one ought to lift,
The pent up feelings and memories,
That clutter the space,
To beautify the place,
The heart within like the vast blue sky,
And no more a place for sighs,
Memories are but thoughts,
That on and off frequent,
But blur the golden present,
For life throbs here and now,
But memories wouldn't allow,
So clear the clutter off the mind,
For peace to find!
