Fading Fear
Despite my strong belief of meeting you
I have a fear dormant in my mind.
That fear sometimes spreads its tentacles and gobbles me like an octopus does to its prey.
I fight, struggle hard to release myself from its clutch.
It's like a battle between the devil and the god, between joys and sorrows.
And in this tussle, sometimes the devil wins, sometimes the god overpowers him.
I am in a boat sailing on a sea crashing against the waves.
So to calm the viscitudes of fear, I have devised a plan.
What if, I told you all my secrets...the secrets to the gateways of heaven?
With all that you have given me, I feel the queen of the universe.
Perhaps, far more blessed than that.
And to reciprocate, let me take you on a derilous journey, where I gently unfurl my heart.
First, the heart, then the mind and then reaching the souls through warm bodies.
I dream of touching every inch of you as a potter feels the mud...soft, tender, palpable beneath the pulpy skin of mine.
Then like an explorer lost in the awe of your mysteries, I would wish for an endless voyage
i'm printing my footsteps in the sands of time.
And then as I unravel the mysteries one by one, I would weave a cocoon for the moth to flutter its wings.
My love, in this verse of mine that the secrets are revealed , I have no fear left
for, I can now meet Death with a smile on my face.
