On the shoulders of giants and progress is made,
Better technology yet the same brain,
Stop, really think see we aren't any smarter,
Then people back hundreds of years that worked harder.
We have them to thank for cellphones and computers,
Touchscreens and smart homes and 5g and Uber.
The shoulders of giants let us not forget,
The blessings they brought, but the ones to come yet,
Could be brought by anyone reading this poem.
