Distance between two people
Is it the distance between two neighbouring houses? Just a common wall?
Or is it the distance between two mirages? Non-existent?
Or is it the distance between sea and the sky? The horizon?
Or is it the distance between two passing bogies? A blur?
Or is it the distance between two perspectives? Fractions of reality?
Or is it the distance between self respect and ego? A thin line?
If we drew a line around them, would they ever fall within the same circle?
Do we only talk of distances or do we ever try to bridge them too?

How long does it really take to break the ice?
Will a soft Hello do?
Or a warm hug?
