Family is the Lord's blessing they say,
Well, to me, it was a bit of both.
A curse and a blessing in disguise,
an emotional rollercoaster with its
highs and lows.

Learned to always live up to their expectations, but was told to never
expect the same in return.
Have to respect the family name, safeguarding it from any stain,
keeping alive and holding on to a false picture perfect frame.
Not good enough, need to do more,
oh, don't be so dramatic, can't you be more
like your siblings? While all along
mastering the art of hiding away my flaws and emotions.
