I love the way my teachers guide me,
Their wisdom and care I can't deny,
Their lessons shape me to who I'll be,
Their words of encouragement amplify.

But sometimes it's hard to let go,
Of the attachment that I feel,
I fear that without them I'll falter,
That I won't be able to deal.

I hate the way it hurts to say goodbye,
To move on and leave them behind,
The thought of their absence makes me sigh,
It's a bittersweet feeling in my mind.

I know that I must spread my wings,
And fly off on my own,
But I'll always cherish the memories,
Of the teachers who've helped me grow.

So though I love and hate this bond,
It's a part of my journey's story,
And I'll carry it with me lifelong,
As I seek my own path to glory.
