My life is an open book,
That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey
I climbed the raspberry ladder
With no chance to accept sadists' slander,
life gave me a wholesome gift
more than I could ever lift,
Though the perilous night befell me
I rose each day to get me.
