Recovery is a maze,
full of twists and turns,
lack of direction exacerbates my mind.

This is a metaphor for life,
choices of which path to take,
yet knowing which to choose,
is a self taught skill.

But don't hesitate,
for the past is unchangeable,
yet the future is in your control.

Recovery is a process,
a choice.

Recovery isn't linear,
but don't be discouraged
as recovery is possible,
healing is probable.
