Take your son, your only son-yes Isaac, whom you love so much-and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you

Genesis 22:2

The Lord said; kill your son
I turned thinking it was a joke
I packed my bags, still thinking it was a joke
I called my son, thinking it was a joke
waiting for God to stop me and laugh
I started my Journey, waiting for the prank to end
I left my servant and continued ,my heart beginning to break
I built the Altar, looking for any sign no matter how small that would stop me
My son asked; "Father, where is the sacrifice?"
I replied, "the lord will provide"
I strapped my son, looking around for the lord
I picked the knife, my heart breaking
for I knew ,I had to make a choice
myself or God
with fear in his heart, my son looked at me
oh those innocent eyes
and at that moment, it clicked
I live for GOD
I am GOD'S OWN
with that revelation, I got ready
to swing the knife accepting the truth
and there the most miraculous thing happened
the Lord spoke!
He provided the perfect sacrifice
but in my heart, the perfect sacrifice had been given
MY COMPLETE SURRENDER
