All her mom ever wanted was a doll face daughter. All her hopes were wrapped up in finding love and family. All her first two marriages ended in disaster. One was a murderer and other a deserter. Her third time was not a charm at the start for he was a motorcycle riding rambler. Her luck changed when the third love found Jesus, and took her four kids as his own. Her love for him never changed through it all from rough rider to preacher.

Her Mama's proclivity for trouble rousers must of born out in her with her love for alcoholics. Her first husband gave her "three beautiful babies" according to her. Her baby boy knows he's the best looking one though. Her second husband was a roughneck through and through. Her prayers were answered after many years when he found Jesus, and put down the bottle for the last time.

Her home life was really lacking with her mom's ever darkening depression and her alcoholic dad's constant disappearing act. She was the one who made sure the siblings got all they needed. She found a man who turned into less then half of one, but got two darlings in the deal. An she took all life's deficits and made something beautiful.

Her momma left her when her motherhood was just in bloom. Her love seems somehow still to grow wider and wider with every passing day. Her confidence in herself does not. Her eyes can not seem to see what everyone else sees. Her husband knows that he is lucky to have her.
