I REMEMBER
I remember the minor scales
Situated in the church hymnal
Which were echoed by
Pipe organs and faithfuls
On Sundays.

I remember those traffic congestions
Which arrayed our ever dusty streets
At night with diverse colours
Which became part
Of our daily sojourns.

I remember the hugs and handshakes,
Smiles and laughters,
Which used to be
The currencies of our emotions
Day by day.

I remember our children
Moving to and fro,
Up and down
In concentric circles
Echoing noisy symphonies.

I remember these memories
Knowing that our present Days
Would soon glide into memories
Like the former
Which I now remember.
