I've been looking for joy, for peace, looking for truth and somebody who can love me in spite of myself, somebody who got my back in the midst of my enemies and I ain't even have to be there.

I've been looking for love, hope, a purpose in all that I do, been looking for strength, a rock that I can always lean on, been looking for someone I can always call my friend, someone to call, when I need help, somebody who can love me in spite of myself.

See, I had friends whom i gave to them guns to protect themselves but they pointed at me, I've seen enemies become footstools but because I loved them, I didn't mind giving them another chance to have a seat at the table

Come on, Lord I call on You for the souls that were lost because somebody represented You in the wrong way. Somebody could be contemplating suicide, and it's a do or die situation but I trust you 'cause You've been real good, just ain't good enough, better than good
