Trademark Eyes (Keener Version) pt. 3
III. ONE-SIDED CONVERSE

I rarely wrote to you or mold you in my canvas,
Let alone to have you be the subject topic in my verses
But truly, I did desribe you in the thoughts of my prayers
If this is my last attempt of reaching you out
Please know, your image was made so perfect in His
I found you most agreeable by design
Did you find me the same way?
Simply afraid you're gonna come to your senses
So decidedly that I'm not your equal
Nonchalant as Fitzwilliam, heartless-looking

See, I'm stubborn as Eliza
I'm just a kid, know nothing about real world and love,
But old enough to be a girl trapped
Most time in her own world
The other day, I could play a role of mature woman
I do think about a decent grown man to be
Seriously involved with me if I'm willing
Will I be able to love him genuinely and truthfully?
What will I miss the most about him?
His tender heart like doors swing wide open
As his most cherished possession
His own affectionate ways to shake the dust
Off my knees or my face when I kneel even more lay prostrate
His attentiveness that's reassuring where it
Takes me to the soft spot I've always had
