Lost in the midst of my thoughts,
Whispers and voices filled my brain,
In the world of uncertainty,
I could hear the wind scream,
I could see the ocean still,
I could feel the air piercing through my skin,
Indecision cloud my mind,
Entangled in fear and hopelessness,
Unable to move forward,
Even backward seems impossible.
Frozen in time, with misty-eyed,
The night drew nigh...
