MIRRORED SELF
In the mirror,
Sparkling eyes
Strong eyebrows,
Ignited smile on the lips
And confident countenance,
Astonished, I gazed to it,
The face gave an acknowledging nod,
And playfully winked at me.
Placing one finger on the glass,
The graceful reflection gestured to me,
My fingers twitched
To touch it.
To embrace with love.
Then, I noted,
It's my future self.
Touched my finger to hers,
And united myself with it...
