Looking back in time brings me pain ,a chain of thoughts that drain me hoping the rain would cleanse me,but all it does is fall in vain.
I lay still as darkness consumes me
slowly taking away a light I once had
a light so bright it shone all through the night,now all I am is a broken lamp.
As my eyes are about to close,I see a light.A Ray of hope I've been seeking bringing to life the wish I've always had a desire for a new life.
no longer will the darkness consume me for I now have an assurance of a new light.
