The streets are busy,
Commotions everywhere,
sounds of weeping and mourning,
blood is everywhere,
what is going on?
people scampering for safety,
The land is filled with graves,
by day, by night they come,
to slew us,
to take our pride away,
The blood of innocence,
fills the land,
we can no longer run nor hide,
our safety is threatened,
help is far from us,
Southern Kaduna is in torment,
Southern Kaduna is in flames,
It needs help,
It needs peace,
for the innocent has been slain,
for a no just cause,
Alas, the groans of the crying mother,
who watched her children die,
may be heard, and peace be restored.

Dedicated to victims of Southern Kaduna massacre, may God avenge their death.
