I want you to be a story
But one that I created
I want to write your begining
First steps and all but you're always loved
Growing up you had people to turn to
Not me who's across the country and met you in your final moments
I wan to write a chapter where your scared to go for the guy you love
But you know that love is pain
And love is worth it as well
I want to conclude the story with you at the right age
Where your near the end but lived you whole life
Your children will miss you
And the world would blink at your death
You would love a happy life

I wanted to write you
Where I can attend your funeral
And tell everyone how much you meant to me
But you're no longer here
And my feelings are of no matter to others
They're non existent as nobody knows you
And they don't know that I felt for you
My friend
When we met I made it a priority to help
To talk when you needed
To keep you alive
To fill you with hope and love
And in my story
I would've succeeded
And you would've been writing your own story somewhere out here
In a world of such despair
You'd bring life as you gave me hope
But this isn't my story
And I can't give you my happy ending
The ending I would've created for you if God had let me
But life has it's own plans
It's own choices
And you weren't apart of them
But you will stay apart of me
Even if you didn't see
Clearly I loved you and what you could be
But sometimes we cheat ourselves from the good
Because we feel so terribly ill in our minds
And now I can't truly believe that you died
But I'll be ok
I know you gave it all you had
I'm going to finally let myself cry
Because I finally accept that for a a short time
You made up your mind
And you found peace
And forever you was always kind
Goodbye my friend
And until we meet again
I just wish I could've wrote you

(I haven't heard from a friend, and I already know what's happened)
