Hey Crayons,
Pink ,blue and now neons,
How expressive you have become,
I used a box of 10 n 12 were in some,
You have many more shades now,
New colors in every row,
I have seen big fancy boxes being treasured,
Kept safe away from kids reach measured,
What's the use of even having them?
When you can't make the best use of that colored stem?
Wasn't that old tiny paper wrapped box holded more emotions?
They drew sun,the river and mountains,
They filled clouds and fountains,
Maybe it wasn't that appropriate and bright,
But the feeling of contentment made it all right,
I gave my kids the tiny wax color box I loved,
To express and create,not being judged.
