Sonnet to Love
How shall I compare thee?
Thou art as lovely and more tantalizing than the tulips that spring up in late May.
Yet in late June, you more likened to the Sunflower bloom, more radiant than a thousand suns.
The heavens shine down upon thee, even through this dense canopy of trees.
I would beckon that I could grant thee eternal life, for with you as my wife, you’ll be the reason for all seasons.
Your complexion is as fair and pure as the oxygen in the air, inhaling your scent is eternity to me.
You’re all I see, even sitting by the sea.
Breathing you is all I want from you.
