AS THE RAIN DRIPS
I want to feel your hands in mine,
Squeezing them gently, telling you, someday, everything will be fine;
Kinda hard to do that now; it feels like I haven't enough time.

I hope that for once in eternity, we would make time to dance in the rain,
Hold your hands tightly, afraid of letting you slip off, and let the drips wash down our pain;
Words; you've always driven me insane.

I hope time will give way,
I pray;
This won't be another game.

As we run back and forth, planning every single kiss on your lips,
I promise to be mindful and not to touch your hips;
I hope I'd be able to summon enough courage to tell you how much I have loved you,
I pray you would too.

We would talk about movies, and I'll tell you about one of my best shows;
Watching you glow.
You haven't changed a bit, you remain the same I met some forever year ago.

Wait! I don't want to be late,
Give me it straight,
Should I keep the faith?

If I get a YES, and not a RATE,
I'll sing my deepest fear, knowing you'd always care,
For once in my existence that's will quench my hate.

On that fine day as it drips, I pray our tear flows us down to the altar;
Too many words I've kept secret I plan to say,
On that day I'd unfold the letter,
Until then, let's just hope for better.

As the rain drips and I grow cold within,
There is still this wall blocking the way between.
