Childhood
Dear Emi Zargallows,
I grew up quick,
I'm 14 years old.
I hope I don't get sick,
COVID is spreading quick I was told.
I sure do miss being young,
All innocent and happy.
Such happy songs I always sung,
Now I cheer with a cup of tea.
Go sit outside when it's dark,
And count the stars.
Get used to it before you get a phone.
Soon you'll be raising your phone to the sky,
Trying to get some bars.
I miss being 4,
Life was a playground.
Don't let anyone change you,
Listen to your own minds sound.
Play play play,
Don't let anyone ruin your rainbow.
Your beautiful and awesome,
A loving bond of family and friends you'll sow.
