Calvary's Embrace
#GoodFriday
On Good Friday's hush, the world held its breath,
As heaven's tears fell, a sacrifice of death.
The Lamb of God, with love profound,
Bore all our burdens, every sin, every wound.
Upon the cross, His mercy bled,
For every soul, His life He shed.
In agony, He bore our strife,
To grant us hope, eternal life.
In shadows deep, redemption's light,
A beacon shines through darkest night.
For on this day, love's triumph sung,
As heaven wept and earth was wrung.
So let us pause, on this sacred day,
To feel the weight, to humbly pray.
For on Good Friday, grace abounds,
And in His sacrifice, love knows no bounds.
