Shallow
Walking down your caesalpinia road,
Under the lustrous expression of tinfoil sky,
Which can only offer some dry drops
of a melancholy rain's cry.
Mountains after mountains--
Standing tall back to back,
Cause your fading shadow still strongly intact!
Nostrils can smell the ashes of my burnt existence,
Some scattered pieces of regret remains!
One light year sized canyon lying between me and my next step,
Bouquets of intolerable pain ahead, that's what I only expect!
Thorny walls are intentionally closing in--
Suffocating trivial self esteem.
A marathon of heartache has left me without any repair!
Voices around me,
Mocking my shallow stares.
I'm now an asymmetric mound of deep scars,
No white flag in my hand to forswear!
Totally surrounded by windowless monstrous towers,
Trapped inside--- vortex of pointless plucking flowers.
